Welcome to the Now Playing section indexing the asian and asian related movies playing in the Montreal area

This week is a blast. First, our distribution divison, Cine-Asie Creatives is finally bringing korean award winner Breathless back to the Montreal screens (after its triumph at Fantasia). We’ve worked hard to get this one to you, so be sure to check it out!

Then there’s some free screenings of chinese movies at NFB to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Canada/China diplomatic relations. Yep, I did say free.

Oh, and there’s also the opening of the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma on wednesday night, although the asian extravaganza doesn’t really start until next week.
